Teaching the Ariel Othellos is by far is one of my greatest joys. It bring challenges and the personal rewards are immeasurable. The transferable life skills they develop whilst they are with us are at times life changing.

Seeing the Othellos thrive and enjoy their drama is so rewarding for the tutors, buddies and all involved. 

Witnessing our Othellos progress each week, learning new skills & seeing their big smiles light up their faces with self belief & confidence warms my heart. I have learnt so much from teaching our Othellos which in itself brings rich rewards.

I love to see the Othellos develop and reach their full potential. It's so much fun teaching our adults and seeing them shine! Being able to offer such a vital service to adults is so fulfilling.

Having taught the Othellos for many years, I feel enriched and joyous seeing them love performing and the fun they all have in our weekly sessions.

Teaching our Othellos new acting skills, including LAMDA, is one of the highlights of my week. Offering this service free of charge means so many students can access this amazing opportunity.

To be a part of a team that gives 110% to the wonderful Othellos and then seeing the joy and fun everyone has on and off stage is so brilliant!

I get so much fulfilment from seeing the students progress each week. The special bonds created between Othellos and their buddies is truly inspirational. 

Enriching the Othellos sessions through my musical training and background is very enriching. I enjoy seeing the positive impact music has on our students.

The Othellos are such a joy to work with and their creativity shines through in every element we teach. It brightens my day so much and it privilege to work with them.

The enthusiasm, fun, laughter and joy our Othellos brings to each weekly lesson is addictive. I really enjoy exploring new work for the students to engage with.

Othellos has been a huge part of my journey and a joy to be a part of. I cannot wait to continue my journey working with Ariel at Haywards Heath with the new Othellos and all the new memories we are going to create!

I’ve been working with the Othellos for a long time and to see how they’ve grown and become accomplished young actors fills me with immense pride. 

The Othellos session is the most joyous hour of the week. Seeing the students make friendships and enjoy all aspects of performing arts is such a privilege. 

The Othellos sessions are a magical part of my week. Seeing the bond between the Othellos and their buddies is beautiful.

I am grateful to be part of Othellos. It's a wonderful community and the Othellos team are incredibly supportive, understanding, and because of this, they create an inclusive environment.

Teaching Othellos is a privilege to watch these young people grow in confidence through engaging with drama and music coupled with the smiles and laughter that accompany the sessions too.

I am proud to also now be in the position to support and empower our buddies in their essential role with our Othellos across all the academies. 

Teaching othellos is truly magical and honestly so uplifting. Especially because I’m neurodivergent  I get to  be my authentic self and help others do the same . We also have the best laughs ever !!
